Our Story

It all started on a very sad note. My beautiful red Doberman, Gunner, was diagnosed with cancer. I watched painfully as tumors appeared on his face and body. Following the guidance of our veterinarian, we had the tumors removed. We prayed that they would never return, but this nasty disease was winning and the tumors reappeared. ​

This discomfort became too much for him, and we knew it was time. As I laid on the floor with my arms around him, we said our final goodbyes to each other. It took everything in me to release my arms and come to the realization that he was gone.

At that moment, I made a promise to myself and my other dogs to never again feed them conventional commercial made dog food. I trusted the pet food industry, as many other dog owners do, only to learn the hard painful truth. But, even this darkest of clouds had a silver lining. Nutrition became a focal point in my life, which was taught to me by a dear friend. I started making my own dog food. Using all-natural foods made with real, traceable ingredients, I was determined to take my dog's health into my own hands. It was a success. They love it!

I began sharing my dog food with family and friends, and received the same responses about their pups. We were witnessing the significance and power of nutrition. I was encouraged to pursue this passion, with their help and inspiration every step of the way.
